This landscape is of Fort Morgan Beach, AL. The sand stretches on to the point at the end of the peninsula with the beautiful houses lining the beach.  
 
This is the setting of the shells depicted in the Morgan Blue shells painting from this series.  
 
In each piece from this collection I use an acrylic medium. But what makes these special is that I also create a custom fine powder pigment out of the shells depicted in each painting that I found myself, and I use that paint on these paintings. I'm always so excited to see what the color will be. The sand in this painting is painted with this shell pigment.
