hi, Kelsey here

My Mother, Sheridan, Grandmother, Deanna, and Great Grandmother, Ellen (Flora). Creativity and art run deep in my blood and these three women have been the driving force for me to really explore where I fit in. I started out using acrylic as my medium of choice when I was younger. However, after taking a break from art to pursue a career in the film industry, move across the country, go back to school, and then run a small candle company, I found my way back to art but this time with a burning desire to figure out watercolor. You see, my Grandmother is an amazing watercolor artist and I could never get the hang of it. But in staying true to myself, I love a challenge and was determined to figure it out. My home is also filled with artwork from my Great Aunt Millie who chose pen & ink for a lot of her work (which I had also never worked with before). I simultaneously began learning both which naturally led me to combining the two mediums in my current work. My style is and always will be ever-changing while I continue to explore different techniques and I would love for you to stick around for the journey!
